One pallet containing 6 full-size Double Horizontal Top-Bar Hives, Amish-handcrafted from heavy-duty, extra-thick, solid, sustainably sourced and milled pine lumber.

Each hive arrives with a fully assembled hive body and hinged roof, all top bars and shims, optional wooden legs, and a removable center partition. The versatile design accommodates either two separate colonies or one large colony, depending on whether the center partition is installed.

What's Included (Per Hive)

• Double hive body: Fully assembled, with approximately 1.7-inch-thick solid pine walls and rough-sawn interior surfaces.

• Top bars & shims: Complete set for natural comb construction. Install the ¼-inch shim near the end cap, followed by the bars with their taller side facing upward.

• Hinged roof: Fully assembled, ready to attach.

• Wooden legs: Included; optional to install when not using a stand or cinder blocks.

• Removable center partition: Included; optional installation for a two-colony configuration.

• Mounting hardware: All necessary screws to connect the roof to the hive body and to attach the optional legs and center partition included.

Quick & Easy Assembly

The hive body and roof arrive fully assembled. Simply connect the roof to the hive body and, if desired, the legs and center partition.

Tools required: Drill with T-25 Torx bit.

Assembly time: Approximately 10 minutes per hive for all.

Shipping & Freight

Each hive is individually wrapped and shipped on a pallet containing 6 complete hives.

Shipping is not included in the purchase price and is quoted separately based on the delivery destination.

Estimated freight costs are typically $30–$50 per hive (typically $180–$300 per pallet of 6).

Actual costs vary depending on destination, freight rates, and fuel charges. Estimates are not guaranteed. Multiple-pallet orders may reduce the shipping cost per hive.
